Expedition Alaska
Surveying a stark white land below. Dark black striations splayed into a myriad of directions feed a nervous system of moraines that cut through the Matenuska Glacier. Undulating ridges and valleys pass by my field of vision as we fly low across the scales of the glaciers back. This sleeping dragon awaits our arrival – This was Alaska, probably one of the most beautiful places I have visited, an adventurers paradise, teeming with mountain ranges, rivers, creeks, and wildlife. It truly is the last frontier.
