Revealing the magic of the watch

The Escudo “Expedition Rich” limited edition watch is not only a go to for any adventurer or connoisseur of high quality watches that you can take anywhere, this piece also has a unique and very magical feature. Here, I will teach you an effect I use in my own magic routine with this very watch. The watches crystal has an etching on the face that is indescribable to the eye, but when condensation or water is introduced, a very compelling revelation occurs – an image of a 5 of diamonds. Here is a routine you can do to force this playing card on a spectator and then reveal their chosen card in a miraculous way.

Maybe you are on a dive boat or near water and dip your hand and wrist into the ocean, pulling it out to reveal the etching of the 5 of diamonds, your spectators chosen card! This is a rather adventurous example ( my sort of magic!) however, the effect can be enjoyed in a casual setting by pouring water on the watch face, creating condensation with your breath, or finding your own creative way to reveal the etching on the watch face – the possibilities are endless.

Hindu Shuffle Force Routine

Grab a deck of playing cards ( preferably 52, your favorite deck an old beat up one, go crazy!) Make sure you have the card you want the spectator to choose (the force card) on the bottom of the deck. In this case, it will be the 5 of Diamonds (unless you received a very rare watch indeed where the etching is not the 5. Keep that watch close – You have a rare defect!)
